Academic book

Have you ever thought about writing an intellectual style book about Gnosticism as an out reach tool towards the people who would read such a book. Many have been written by people in recent years but all from an analytical point of few. To take the Gnostic Gospels as a starting point could really lead a to a good understanding. I read a book back in May, just before starting with the Movement, called The Gnostics, the First Heretics. It gave a good survey of Gnosticism from a historical point of few, discussed the modern impact of Gnosticism since the the 1400s, and then it talked about the various kinds of Gnostics throughout history such as the Cathars. It was reading this book that got me to finally look for a Gnostic group to start the work. However it only lead me to understand what I could find and I originally approached the centre, here in Toronto, with a degree of skepticism and a feeling of trying it out. If there was a book written by someone, like yourself, who truly understood Gnosis that could be a great outreach tool, like The Gnostic Christianity course or the Flight of the Feathered serpent. Just thought i would make the suggestion as it seems to be another way to attract people. All the Best Jeff

Your words are thirst-quenching

Really there is no way to describe how fortunate we are to have this guidance. It's one thing to have the teachings, quite another to actually spot the pitfalls and our own mistakes, and to rise above them, but with your help and the help of all your teachers, and the help of each other, then this work actually takes place in our lives, and for that we owe you more than we can ever repay. Thank you. Jim B.

Criticisms Rang True

Some of the criticisms you raised in the first three videos rang true in me. In university, my psychology professor advised me to "take it easy". It's almost crazy how, even today, I tend to start throwing away good things by "rushing things", wanting my way, rather than patiently going for activities that actually address the egos. Asim
